As already known that surfing the internet has now turn to must for most people around the world. Gradually, the price of data plans is reducing.
Within the last week, Etisalat started sending out texts to customers.
The text is something like below:
Get 1GB data for N1000 Now. Dial
*229*2*7#. Data plan is valid for 30 days.
Get 2GB data for N2000 Now. Dial *229*2*8#. Data plan valid for 30 days.
So once you dial the code, you're charged and the data is yours. It
seems this data plan works through eligibility, so if you haven’t received the text yet, it means you’re not eligible. This is a welcome development for Etisalat users. Data resellers will frown at this because the higher data allocation is spoiling their business. Let’s see how other networks (MTN, GLO, and Airtel) would react to this.
