Google announces New HTC Designed 8.9 inch Tablet-HTC NEXUS 9

As we all know nowadays Android smartphones are now rapidly and there’s introduction of new phones almost daily.
Today, I would be using this medium to tell you that Google has just announced the Nexus 9, an Android 5.0(Lollipop) tablet that the company designed in collaboration with HTC.
Pre-orders will begin on October 17th and you can expect the
tablet to start showing up in stores on November 3rd. Nexus 9 is available in either black or white colours.
Google’s planning to launch Nexus 9 in 29 countries over the coming weeks.
In the US, it’ll be sold through Amazon, Best Buy, Gamestop, Google Play, Office Depot, Office Max, QVC/HSN, Radio Shack, Staples, and Walmart. US wireless carriers
including T-Mobile will also carry it directly; the Uncarrier will kick off sales November 12th according to this tweet.

Now, let go into knowing the full features and specs of the new tablet:
The 8.9 inch Tablet which weighs 425g (Wi-Fi) and 436g (3G/
LTE) has QVGA (2048×1536) display and with a body dimension of 228.2×153.7×7.9 mm. The device also features 2GB of RAM with no memory card slot and on average, around 9 hours of battery life. Google says this form factor is “small enough to easily carry around in one hand, yet big enough to work on.

The device run latest Android version, v5.0 (Lollipop), Chipset-Nvidia Tegra K1, CPU – Quad-core 2.3 GHz Denver and GPU – Kepler DX1.
The tablet was provided with Cameras. The front and rear-facing cameras have also seen a slight improvement
on the previous model with the inclusion of a 1.6MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera. HTC’s dual front facing speakers and Boomsound – which featured on the One M8 and Desire EYE and scored well with reviewers – is also included in the Nexus 9. Google has added some innovation to the tablet and created an foldable case called a “keyboard folio” that magnetically attaches to the Nexus 9
and can be folded into two different angles.
It is also provided with via Java MIDP
emulator and a Non-removable Li-Po 6700
mAh battery.
The new tablet will be available for pre-order on Friday and will be ready to purchase on
November 3rd as said earlier. The Nexus 9 was expected to cost $399 for the 16GB and
$499 for the 32GB LTE version.
